The Wellsville Rodeo had a lot of entries and guests despite the weather. Luckily the rain stopped just before showtime and held off until just after showtime. Perfect timing for Mother Nature! There were some great rides and some fantastic crashes. Check out the photo blog for some amazing shots! The young man that was calf roping somehow got his leg over the rope when he was trying to flip the calf. His horse ran and took him and the calf for a drag through some muck and mud. Luckily he walked away! The girl in the barrel race shot managed to stay on the horse and finished the race! If you think bull riding is dangerous wait until you view the shot sequence of one of the steer wrestling entries. In reality it wasn't even the steer wrestler that crashed. It was the hazer that ended up face down in the muck and mud! Thankfully, he walked away from this one. The steer and the horse ran away!
